It's distressing to lose a friend, painful to lose a family
member and a loved one and more distressing to lose a leader. The country has
indeed lost a true leader and a patriot who devoted his time to serving the
nation. Likewise, the family has lost a loved one, a darling of theirs and a
mentor. The Orange Democratic Party and the CORD coalition has as well, lost a
leader, an entertainer, an adviser, a darling and an influential personality.
Yet as the nation mourns the death of their son, there are
cries of foul plays into the death of the Homa Bay Senator. The Late Kajwang’
was a mentor to many and the most inspiring leader of those who had a desire
and a passion for politics. Indeed, he was the epitome of mobilization in the
state as well as to the party.
Hon Kajwang’ is described as a personality who made Kenyan
politics while both in and out of the system. Known for his song, “Mapambano,”
he would charge the crowd and make the citizens lively. Nevertheless, the song Mapambano could have gone silent
last night at the Marter Hospital, never to be sung again by such a voice, but
always will be a commemoration and a wake up call for Kenyans.
The senator was famed for his ability to whisk up the crowd
emotions and his trademark, Bado Mapambano, and a whisk, was a wake up clarion
to Kenyans.
The jovial senator, is said to have succumbed to cardiac arrest at
Marta Hospital, however, the opposition members of parliament, have as well
thought of a foul play in the loss of their fallen soldier. Nonetheless,a post-mortem is expected to be
conducted this morning on the late Senators body so as to have the pathologist
determine the course of the death.
