A triumphant entry by Raila into kisumu county

 The premier's welcome

The Rt. Hon Prime Minister, Raila Amollo Odinga, made a surprise visit to kisumu and found the city's residents ready to welcome their hero.The Prime Minister, popurlarly reffered to as the 'peoples president,' was welcomed by a jubilant crowd that were carrying bibles on their hands. As he made the triumphant entry into the city, he was followed by a huge crowd and was even given a bible so as to be sworn in as the president.
 
The premier, criticised the decision by the Supreme Court to uphold the election of Uhuru Kenyatta  as Kenya’s fourth president.He noted that the supreme's court verdict was unpopular and dismissed it.( he said, “Supreme Court ishindwe ,) Raila, made contarast of the verdict to the persecution of Jesus Christ about 2000 years ago when the messiah was crucified and Barnabas released at the shout of the crowd. he said, "jesus was persecuted and the thief released but he is still alive." there was alot of chanting from the crowd.

Raila said he would continue with the fight for democracy, despite losing the presidency. He urged Kenyans to continue to fight for justice and democracy, adding that he would spearhead this fight.
