The Odinga’s family and the nation at large, woke to a sad
news of the death of one son to the Prime Minister Raila Odinga who was also deemed
to become the heir of the fathers throne.
Fodel Odinga, who is a son to the Rt Honourable Raila Amollo Odinga, was
this Sunday morning found dead in his room.
Fidel is said to have gone out with his close friends on Saturday night
and that is probably the last known activity of Fidel.
The death of Fidel was this morning confirmed by close
family friends, including Former Imenti Central Member of Parliament, Gitobu
Imantara. In his tweeter post this morning, this is what he said, “Tragic new year
development waking up to the development of the death of the son of Raila
Odinga, Fidel.” Likewise, Former Presidential aspirant and Narc Kenya chairperson,
Martha Korea as well confirmed this and tweeted a message of condolence. “My condolences
to Raila Odinga, Ida Odinga and the entire family on the ultimately passing of
Fidel Odinga. Our prayers are with you.”
